Tandoori Chicken Kebabs Recipe: A Flavourful Delight for Ramadan

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams chicken (cut into bite-sized cubes)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 3/4 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2-3 tbsp Hooyos House Perfect Chicken Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Hooyos House Spicy Chicken Seasoning
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp corn flour

Instructions:

1. Marinade for Tandoori Chicken:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, cornflour, Hooyos House Chicken spices, ginger garlic paste, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt. Adjust the consistency by adding lemon juice if needed. Mix until the marinade is thick and evenly mixed.
  • Pour the marinade over the chicken cubes and ensure each piece is fully coated. Cover and let it marinate for at least 6 hours to achieve maximum flavour and tenderness.

2. How to Make Tandoori Chicken:

  • Preheat your oven to the highest temperature for 15-20 minutes. Line a baking tray with foil to catch drippings.
  • Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers and place them on the prepared baking tray. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes on the lower-middle rack.
  • After 15 minutes, baste the chicken with oil or melted butter. Optionally, you can also brush with leftover marinade. Flip the skewers and baste again, then bake for an additional 15 minutes until cooked through and charred.

3. Serving Suggestions:

  • Once cooked, serve your Tandoori Chicken Kebabs with coriander, basbaas, or mint yogurt. Garnish with onion and lemon wedges for an extra burst of flavor.
